MAURO CAIAZZA initiated his way in the art at 11 years old of his age, studying Folk and Tango in the Integrate School of Dance “EL Chúcaro”, in Perez’s city. The following year he traveled to New York with a local group, integrating the delegation representative of the Republic Argentina.
After 8 years of study, Mauro obtained the Teacher’s title of Native Dances and Folk with the best average in the institute “El Cimarron”. These years, with the ballet “El Chucaro”, he danced in different festivals and competitions of all the country, like also in the WORLD FOLKLOREADA in Czech Republic and Hungary (2004), where 80 delegations from all parts of the world danced. In his adolescence, he began to be interested increasingly in the Tango and discovered that this one was his great passion, and he began to study with different teachers. In this time, he also incorporated into his studies other such disciplines like jazz, salsa, contemporary and air acrobatics, these studies it helped and until today, they it help to find his search in the style and the way of dancing.

In 2006 he toured Mexico, and also danced in the National Festival “Cosquín” together with the recognized artist Soledad Pastorutti. He participated in the program Big Values of the Tango, by Silvio Soldán. And he performed in the company MORA GODOY.
In 2007, he was part of the show TANGORAMA, directed by Mora Godoy and Gustavo Zajac, in the house of tango “Madero Tango”. In the same year, he performed in the company LATIN DANCE directed by Junior Cervila. He won the first prize in couples Tango and the revelation prize of the year in the competition of Pergamino. In the same year, Mauro was part of the show “The Commemoration in the day of the dance” in the theater Alvear of Buenos Aires.
In 2008, he did an international tour to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia with the spectacle SHINE. Upon return, he danced at the theater Lola Membrives with the spectacle MORA. Later he performed in the company TANGO FEELING directed by Carolina Soler, and the spectacle in the Astral theatre. Then he toured in China, with the company Mora Godoy. Later he was a member of the show of the closing of THE GLASS DAVIS and of the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CINEMA in Mar del Plata. Also he integrates the show of the “Viejo Almacen”, famous house of tango, in our country.
In 2009, he returned to be part of international festival “Cosquín” together with Soledad Pastorutti, and in the festival of 135 years of Mar del Plata together with the above mentioned singer and to Mercedes Sosa. Then he travels to The United States to integrate the show “ND’S FIRE” in the hotel casino RIO in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the company VIASHOW directed by Nicole Durr. After six months he decided to return to Buenos Aires and  toured to El Salvador with the company “Mestizaje Tango” directed by Francisco Forquera and Carolina Bonaventura, and he performed in the show “Señor Tango” in Buenos Aires.
In 2010 he did a tour of Chile, Peru and Colombia with the company of Mora Godoy. Then he leads an advertising for NEVSKY CENTER promoted in Russia. Also toured to Mexico, special guest in the program TV DE NOCHE, of Televisa Mexico. He was part of the juror of TorneosBonaerenses in Zarate’s city. And he did a new tour to China with the Mora Godoy Company.

In 2011 he toured in Naples, Italy, and participated in the “Festival of The Woman”. When he come back to Buenos Aires, he dances for some months in the ROJO TANGO SHOW in the Faena Hotel. Also he formed part of BACARDI’S publicity promoted in Latin America. And he  toured in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia taking part of the festival “Tango Blizt”. In August, he performed in the company FOREVER TANGO, touring in The United States. Then he traveled to Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore and he was intived to be employed in the Philippines. In late 2011, he returned to The United States to teach in Hawaii.
In January, 2012 Mauro performed the new work of Gustavo Santaolalla “ARRABAL”, directed by Sergio Trujillo and choreographed by Julio Zurita, with the music of BAJO FONDO. In April he performed for the musician and director HECTOR DEL CURTO to dance in the “HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL – I FEST” in USA and he traveled to MEXICO to teach a special workshop to professional dancers and teachers. In June, he went to Sydney, Australia and Indonesia to teach and after that they contracted him to participate one month in the EXPO YEOSU 2012 in Korea, where he dance every night in the show of the Argentine Pavilion and he did special shows with artist like, Guillermo Fernandez, Peteco Caravajal and el quintet Real Argentino. And he was part of the special group of dancer of the last show of the Expo, that was in national Korean TV. After that he teach in Malasya, Singapur and Indonesia.

Mauro Caiazza inicia su camino en el arte a los 11 años de edad, estudiando folclore y  tango en la Escuela Integral de Danzas “El Chúcaro”,  en la ciudad de Pérez.  Al año siguiente viaja a New York junto a un ballet de la zona, integrando  la delegación representante de la República Argentina.

Después de 8 años de estudio, Mauro obtiene el título de Profesor de Danzas Nativas y Folclore con el mejor promedio en el instituto “El Cimarrón”. Por estos años, junto al ballet “El Chúcaro”, baila en distintos festivales y certámenes en todo el país, como también participa en la FOLCLOREADA MUNDIAL  en República Checa y Hungría (2004), donde participan 80 delegaciones de todas partes del mundo. En su adolescencia comienza a interesarse cada vez más en el Tango y descubre que esta era su gran pasión, motivo por el cual comienza  a estudiar con distintos profesores. En ese tiempo también incorpora a sus estudios otras disciplinas tales como jazz, salsa, contemporáneo y acrobacias aéreas, estos estudios lo ayudaron y hasta el día de hoy, lo ayudan a encontrar su búsqueda en el estilo y la forma de bailar.

 En el 2006 realiza una gira a México, y  también actúa en el Festival Nacional “Cosquín” junto a la reconocida artista Soledad Pastorutti. Participa del programa Grandes Valores del Tango, conducido por Silvio Soldán. E integra la compañía MORA GODOY.

En el 2007 forma parte  del show TANGORAMA, dirigido por Mora Godoy y Gustavo Zajac, en la casa de tango “Madero Tango”. En el mismo año integra  la compañía LATIN DANCE dirigida por Junior Cervila. Participa también del Certamen en Pergamino obteniendo el primer premio en Pareja de Tango y el premio Revelación del año. En el mismo año participa en el espectáculo  “Conmemoración al día de la danza” en el teatro Alvear de Buenos Aires.

En el 2008 realiza una gira internacional a Estonia, Letonia, Lituania y Rusia con el espectáculo SHINE, junto a la compañía Mora Godoy.  Al regresar trabaja una temporada en el teatro Lola Membrives en la calle corrientes con el espectáculo MORA. Posteriormente integra la compañía TANGO FEELING dirigida por Carolina Soler, y el espectáculo en el teatro Astral. Luego realiza una gira a China, junto a la compañía Mora Godoy. Posteriormente es integrante del show del cierre de LA COPA DAVIS y del FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE en Mar del Plata.  También integra el show del “Viejo Almacén”, reconocidísima casa de tango, en nuestro país.

En el 2009 vuelve a participar del festival internacional de Cosquín junto a Soledad Pastorutti, y en el festival de 135 años de Mar del Plata junto a dicha cantante y a Mercedes Sosa. Más adelante viaja a Estados Unidos para integrar el show “ND’S FUEGO” en el hotel casino RIO en Las Vegas, Nevada, junto a la compañía VIASHOW dirigida por Nicole Durr. Luego de seis meses decide regresar a Buenos Aires y realiza una gira a El Salvador con la compañía “Mestizaje Tango” dirigida por Francisco Forquera y Carolina Bonaventura, e integra el show Señor Tango en Buenos Aires.

En el 2010 realiza una  gira a Chile, Perú y Colombia junto a la compañía de Mora Godoy. Luego protagoniza una publicidad para NEVSKY CENTER promocionada en Rusia. También realiza una gira a México, invitado especial en el programa TV DE NOCHE, deTelevisa México. Participa del jurado de Torneos Bonaerenses en la ciudad de Zarate. Y realiza una nueva gira a China junto a la compañía Mora Godoy.

En el 2011 realiza una gira a Nápoles, Italia, participando del “Festival de La Mujer”. Al retornar participa en el show ROJO TANGO en el hotel Faena de Buenos Aires durante unos meses. También forma parte de una publicidad de BACARDI promocionada en Latinoamérica. Y realiza una gira a Singapur, Indonesia y Malasia participando del festival “Tango Blizt”. En agosto integra la compañía FOREVER TANGO, realizando una gira en Estados Unidos. Luego vuelve a viajar a Indonesia, Malasia y Singapur y es convocado para también trabajar en Filipinas, vuelve a Estados Unidos para trabajar en Hawái.

En Enero del 2012 Mauro integra, como actor y bailarín, la nueva obra “ARRABAL”  de Gustavo Santaolalla, dirigida por Sergio Trujillo, director de 4 obras en Broadway  y coreografiada por Julio Zurita, con la música de BAJO FONDO. En abril fue convocado directamente por el músico y director, Hector Del Curto, para participar en el “HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL – IFEST” en Estados Unidos y viajo a México para dictar seminarios de perfeccionamiento de bailarines. En Junio viaja a Sídney, Australia para dictar seminarios y de ahí a Indonesia. Luego es contratado para participar un mes, en la EXPO YEOSU 2012, en Corea, donde aparte de hacer shows todos los días en el pabellón argentino, hizo presentaciones especiales con Guillermo Fernández,  Peteco Caravajal y El Quinteto Real de Tango Argentino. También fue parte del Show exclusivo que cerró la Expo, y transmitieron en TV nacional de Corea. Luego dicto clases y seminarios en Malasia, Singapur e Indonesia.

En  Marzo del 2013 viaja a México y Estados Unidos, dictando seminarios intensivos y exhibiciones. Es convocado por el “HONOLULU MUSEUM OF ART” para dar una conferencia acerca de la historia del Tango y de cómo transcurre este en el día de “hoy”, en Hawái. En Mayo Mauro debuta en cine, en el Film “Amapola” dirigida por Eugenio Zanetti, bailando junto a “Camila Belle” y “Elena Roger”
